hallelujah! florida is amazing because it's nothing like utah. it's rejuvenating to shoot in new spots. yesterday i drove around destin with spencer and we found a bunch of sweet locations. i'm loving this vacation. besides the humidity and heat (which i'm going to be honest about, it's turning me into a mostly dead MONSTER), florida is IT. :D

also, i realized i never posted about shooting the sun like in this first image. i promised i would so here goes.. basically, just close the aperture. i used to shoot wide open all the time but it's amazing how much you can do when you close up a bit! usually when i get shots like this i'm shooting around f/13. play around with it, it's easier when you have something for the sun to hit like the side of a building or trees. simple:)
