on the road

my shooting spree in katy is over, and i am on the road with my family (click here for more pictures on my personal blog). we are in st. george UT right now, and tomorrow we will finish our 4 day drive and settle in modesto CA for the holidays. i have had limited internet access and also limited interest in doing much besides listening to music and thinking while watching beautiful scenery fly by. i am officially done with the 2010 work year, and am now booking for 2011. it's going to be a big year:)

this is the 4th year that i have had the opportunity to shoot a session with this lovely family:) the mom wanted a lot of sun art, and brought a ton of clear balloons for the kids to play with. it was so fun just letting them run amuck in a field, chasing them with my camera. the lighting was perfect. this was such a refreshing shoot! i can't wait to post the rest, but here are a few quick favorites of mine:
